Key elements - Point 10
Key elements that will be featured in my music video...
In my music video some of the key elements that will feature will be a couple in a toxic relationship with scenes of them arguing and one of them storming out, the scene will be slowed down. Also there will be several of the same scenes when the lyrics 'why'd you only call me when your high' are said. These scene's will be clips switching between the couple, one will be ringing the other while they are out and the other will be declining/ ignoring the messages and calls.
I will also be getting Millie to do some dance in this video. There will be shots of her dancing in a black leotard (almost like a silhouette) in a studio, some of the clips will be transparent and will be over the singer performing and some as stand alone shots.
There will also be several scenes of groups of people out and partying. They will also be slowed down just like the couple have split up argument scenes. The guy in the relationship will be out partying, it reflects his way of dealing with this break up, compared to the girl who isolates herself and try's to move on from what has happened, however is struggling to as he keeps trying to contact her.
I will also use a projection screen as a background with neon colours - having red when they are together, blue when the boy is by himself and purple when the girl is by herself. These clips will appear at different times throughout the video. The red when they are together symbolizes aggression, anger, passion and shows that when they are together even though it may be good some of the time, there is an element of toxic and just doesn't work. The blue for the guy symbolizes the hurt and sadness he feels over losing her, he just wants it to go back to the way it was before. Finally the purple for the girl symbolizes a similar emotion to the blue however, its more vibrant and reflects that even though it may be hard now it will get better and everything happens for a reason.
